If your bike starts hard, first thing to check is plugs, carbs or airleak... But one of the most overlooked things is when the float bowls is swapped, then it will start real hard, but when its hot just first kick, this is symtoms of a malfunctioning choke... Because of the wrong float bowl on the wrong carbs... Sometimes you jet your carbs and swap the float bowls... some don't know its not interchangeable....

The one float bowl has a jet, which feeds the 2nd carb's choke. The bowl with the jet goes on the carb with the choke. you'll see the other one is just blanked off, no jet.

Hi guys
I took my bike out to the garage today just to check my pressure and ofcourse on my way back home I wanted to feel that power, but when I pressed it just bogged with no power so I decided to nurse it home and when I was nearing home there was a. Bit of a loud back fire so I just killed the engine. What could be the problem?

Much appreciated
Probably just dirty carbs or something.... It can be so many things....
myne also backfires through one exhaust, and throug the carb, can that be reeds
Maybe yes, but also make sure the carbs are fully synced....
