u sed u got BKT's, try getting a set of Kenda's. also depends on what surface u run on, also nothing much u can do when powerband kicks in, unless u on a blue line (hard packed dirt thats been ridden on over n over and got a layer of black rubber on it)
replacing the chain (if its stretched and old) will allow you to adjust the carrier to its first most setting, because it works on a pivot in order to allow u to adjust wen the chain lengthens, it makes it longer.
simple thing but the most cheapest way to shorten your wheelbase, IMO, without cutting n welding etc
ps: simple test, wen u do replace the chain, count and measure the links of the new against the old one, u'll b suprised...
