Should I change the forum settings so that I need to approve new members before they can post??? Looks like the spammers just keeps on coming?? I know this is frustrated to new registered members, I hate forums that work this way, but maybe just for a few months??

yes it help to keep the forum sorted out and will be faster to browes the posts.
Spammers are easy to spot, if it's a big schlep to sort out the new guys, then I say let it roll.
It's easy. Make the forum that they can only post the first 1-5 posts in the intro section. Easy to sort them out there.

Yes I'm sure people that are really interested in joining for good reason will not have a problem with something like that..
