Here is a picture of my 85-86 style LT250R Quadracer that i am going to set up for drag racing on asphalt. I am using a 1986 RM motor which is very simliar to the 87-92 LT250R motor minus the counterbalance shaft, the five speed tranny, and the internal rotor ignition. Since I will be using the bike for short blasts at the drag strip I am not too concerened with vibration issues. I modded the frame to accept the RM motor and make it the engine removable without having to mess with the swing arm bolt. I will be using a Mikuni 38mm flatslide carb with v force reeds and a "Hi Rev" pipe. The engine is going to utilize the large style 87 reed cage with a bore of 69mm with the stock 70mm stroke for a 270cc displacement and a recut stock style head. enjoy
