So I was told by someone (actually more then 1) that local engine builders say you cannot do anything on the 125 and 250 motocross motors, they are maxed out and port timings are very radical... AND that no one here can do porting on these 125/250s....
I've got a CR125 cylinder from someone, let me tell you there are still plenty of potential.... The exh durations are actually very low AND most of these have power valves so you can raise them to add peak hp and still maintain the bottom end power.... The cylinder head can also be modified and even give better low end power and hp through out the whole rpm range....
