for those who have never raced MX or are intimidated by the jumps this is perfect news, this year sees the quadmx championship on mini mx tracks, no more huge table tops. its fun, its exciting and CMH, Christo Nel and Christo Boshoff have urged more lady riders to come race, so much so that they are sponsoring each and every lady entrants entry fee..... Northern Regions Regional Championship

Total of 16 scheduled heats
12 mx heats of which two are on "small tracks" (the arena mx track at Dirt Bronco and 1/3 mx track at Zeemans.

If an event is cancelled, 10 highest scores to count

6. Duration of heats
Regional classes will race 12 minutes plus 1 lap.
7. Licences
Riders entering the High School and Pro 450 regional classes must possess a regional licence.
The Quad MX Floating Trophy Events
1. Key issues
The events will consist of flat track and mx track heats.
Class winners will receive the floating trophy - theirs to keep until the next event.
All classes receive prize money at the end of the series; 1st place gets R2,500, 2nd place gets R1,500 and 3rd place gets R1,000, 4th place gets R1,000, 5th place gets R800 and 6th place gets R600.
2. Classes
Junior class. For ages 10 to 15. Quads 100cc to 400cc
Ladies class. For ages 15 and older. Quads 200cc to 450cc
Open class. For ages 18 and older and unlimited quads.
High School A class. For ages 15 to 18 and 450cc maximum.
High School class. For ages 15 to 18 and 450cc maximum.
Pro 450 class. For ages 18 and older.
Anyone who raced in High School or in Pro 450 class, in the Regional or National Championship in 2009 may not enter the High School A class or Open class.
Anyone of the right age, who holds a Regional licence, may enter the High School and Pro 450 classes.

Dirt Bronco flat track and arena mx track.
Zeemans flat track and 1/2 of the mx track.
4. Who races what
Junior class, Ladies class, High School A and Open class will race two heats flat track and one heat mx.
