I know it's a 4 poke, but figure it would be nice to post the build here aswell.

So im back from holiday and all. And i desided to rebuild my quad while the engin is out and do some work to the rest of the quad aswell. So it's all stripped down and marked and packed away.

This is a pic of how it looked just a few months ago.




And this is where i stand now, stripped and sent the frame in for powder coating. Will post the pics as soon as i get the frame back.



The engin will be repaired soon aswell.

So i got the frame back yesterday. I powder coated the frame black. Wanted to do the sub frame, grab bar and bull bar aswell. But the guy from the powder coating company said i must rather not powder coat the alli.

So im going to send those in for some black anidizing. That will last longer and wont chip as much.

But here is some pics on the powder coating. Will just have to tap all the holes out again.






Im taking the wiring harness apart aswell. I got a short on the light but i know where it is. So will be fast to fix. Then re rap the harness with som tape.

Tapped all the holes on the frame last night. Took me half an hour to do it. And now i know it's good an not going to have any problemes with sticky bolts.

And then i got borred and checked, fixed a short and rapped my wiring of the whole bike. Only one short on the whole system. But all fixed and good to go.

how much hp does the red tape add??

Im not u know who. Tape adds nothing, but the constant stream to my lights that was shorting out. Tapped the whole thing because i checked all the wiring.

Now let all here at Extreme 2 stroke hope we see a extreme 2 smoke being rebuilt in the near future Greg. And hopefully tighten some bolts on the nerf bar. Ha Ha.

Looking at the old pics, there's a lot of visible frame. The new colour will definitely transform the look of the bike.

Thanx guy's. Got a call from the anodizers, they finished with my bull bar and Grab bar. Just waiting for the sub frame and then i can go pick it up and start som of the assemibaly.

As soon as i get my bonus back. My dad bonus has still not been payed, so i have to wait until they do.

So i got the parts back yesterday from the anodizers. They look flippen cool. And then i figured im going to do some work. I got photo's of the parts but not from the progress i got last night. I will take some pics after work today as i only finished up at 11 last night and it's starting to look like something again.

So last night i fitted, Anodized black sub frame to the powder coated frame and the match up very nice. The i fitted the whole wiring harness on to the frame and the cdi and rev box and so on. Then i fitted the Anodized grab bar and the brackets for the rear plastics. Installed the nerf bars and footpeg combo's brackets and the light and anodized bull bar. It looks mean with the black and red sofar. About everything that was installed last night is black. And the red harness stands out and looks hectic nice.

Ill get the photo's tonight and post them up tomorrow morning. Cant work tonight as the office desided they want to do this action cricket thing. 8-[

The white stuff on the sub frame is some chemical left from the proses that they did not clean of properly but cleaned up easy.

i tried to get ur rims off my hubs last night, eish....... they are stuck solid! have them here with me at work, gonna try a bit of gentle persuasion in the press.......
