hello all,

so i was updating the opel forum im on about the turbo setup im busy with for my corsa. so as we all petrol heads here some like to see and hear the my project
the setup that im running now is the OEM block and intrenals. i have done new bearing all round AE big and mian ends, with hastings ring. clean up the piston nicely. with new payin headgasket, new oil pump. with the the x14xe head on the block to drop the C/ nicely fot turbo setup. i got a x14xe 16v head for a import engine i got last year. and the conrod broke. so i choose to do turbo setup up. i got the dicktator 60-2 system in. with about 0.6 to 0.8max bar boost.

so this what happened so far. the mix engine setup is build and in the car running now. done about 3500Km from new build.
new T2.5 turbo  ( buffing and polishing) tubo cost R3000
got set of opel 200ts injectorsR1100 post to me
dump valveR500
going on monday to place my order for the turbo manifold. +- R850
then to get last few thing to get like suply feed and return to and from the turbo, pipe to the intake, gauges, boost control valve. (still to get the parts)

will get pics when start the build in next few weeks.

but here some pics of the turbo so far with the polishing)

NIce Jarrid... Can't you build a manifold? Do you have the tools? Its really a easy one on those opels and actually most cars... I have driven a corsa light 1.4 with turbo, the little motor took it very well, the guy had already put 80k km on it with no issues, running a 0.4 - 0.5 bar boost, she was scream tyres all the way......

Enjoy it!!!

I will be posting supercharger pics soon.....
Nice J. Love Turbo vehicles! Sounds like this is going to be a runner. Any Inter-cooler? Does your turbo have internal waste-gate or are you going to run external. Dicktator's are very good computers. I would have gone for different injectors though. Something with a wider spray pattern too cool down the piston skirts more. Maybe 20DET/13B injectors. Preferably 13B injectors, but they are extremely hard to come by.

Please keep us updated on your build. I am very interested!

i got tools at the farm. but my welding is not the best. and we only got a oil bath welder. and the im getting turbo branch made up. at cost from cowley. the corsa with bolt on are nice little play toys. as i have the 16v head the dome are bigger then the normal 8v head. so i can get boost about 0.6 to 0.8 max. but will keep update on the build.
so a little update>>
