South Africa's First and Only 2-stroke Forum

HI Guys...

We have a bunch of users that register and not use the forum...... I am on some local forums and they have the same issue and are sending e-mails and deleting accounts....

I was thinking should we start deleting account that weren't active in the last 2 - 3 months? Or maybe 6 months... The thing is the numbers make us look like a forum, deleting will result in "the look of a forum struggling"... We actually are qute active considering the amount of members which are on here....

So what should we do..... Any ideas on promoting the forum???? This is not a competition for any other forum, this is about 2-strokes and especially local and Proudly SA...

Opinions needed.. I haven't forgot about the banners, my guy is just lazy

YES LOCK IT

I'm also starting to think about this....

Lock it.... This way someone has to register to read on here.... If they don't log in after a month or 2 or 3 they get deleted....

I agree. Lock it. Only signed in users to browse.

Lock it to the public B, no freebees

The CR500 forum further requires members to contribute, before any assistance.......however that may lead to the loss of interest

I cant say that i agree to locking. I know when i search for stuff and come across locked sites i just skip it! You will probably end with more people just joining to read then never bother to contribute or log on again. giving you work to constantly clean up the forum!

IF user = {no activity<60days}
THEN {send mail for confirmation of deletion}
ELSE {Delete}
